Maintain tolerances for standard dimensions
The automatic dimensioning of the drawing based on predefined parameters facilitates the creation of an attractive tool drawing at the same time. However, the TD Sketcher is more capable and can already handle tolerances for standard dimensions.
A tolerance can be entered in the settings for various standard dimension, e.g. step length, total length or shaft diameter which are applied automatically in the drawing.
Further properties of the dimensioning can be made via the settings. For example, the number of the decimal places or specify an alternative diameter sign.
A very convenient solution is the presetting of the step dimensioning. The general behavior of the tool assistant can be pre-defined as you would like to enter the step lengths for step drills and mills in the future. This default can still be changed during the tool definition.
